I translate from Dutch into my mother tongue – English.

My employment history, experience of working across a range of agencies and disciplines, my commitment to lifelong learning and love of reading all interweave to give me a rich knowledge/word base on which to draw. I am therefore able to translate texts drawn from a number of subject areas from human and organisational development to spirituality.

I am particularly keen to translate the work of Dutch writers who are:

  • exploring the human search for meaning at this time of ecological crisis;
  • seeking to encourage dialogue and understanding for the sake of more inclusive, compassionate and sustainable ways of living.

In recent years I have translated a variety of texts from academic papers, legal documents, religious constitutions and statutes, learning resources, speeches for international meetings, books, poems and texts for websites.
